This Tribute is supporting Alzheimer Café Isle of Wight. If you want to help, please make a Donation or consider creating a Fundraising Event. The I.O.W Alzheimer Café was a life line to both Ruth and Barry when they first moved back from France giving them both support and friendship. The Café enabled them to ease back into the Island community as they had been away for so many years. Barry will continue to be involved with numerous Café's on the Island and will carry on with his work directly with the Alzheimer’s Society where he monitors research. Any money raised from this site will be spent wisely and it will remain on the Island that Ruth loved. The money will go towards supporting people with Dementia and their careers within the community. Although Ruth loved flowers the family feel that she would have preferred this type of acknowledgement.
